I’m debating whether to hire a professional to install window film or try it myself. I’m a bit worried about messing up, but I also want to save money. For those who have done both, how do results compare? Is pro installation really that much better?

I did both on different windows. The professional installation was flawless and fast, but also costly. My DIY attempt, guided by windowfilm, took longer and had a few small bubbles, but it still looked great once I got the hang of it. If you’re careful and patient, DIY can be a good option. But for big or complex jobs, pros might be worth the investment

I think it depends on your skills and patience. For some, DIY is rewarding; for others, it’s worth paying to avoid stress.
